I'm Jose Manuel Alba Barroso, a visual designer who truly loves what he does.

Design has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I started by sketching and tinkering with Photoshop, gradually diving deeper into more structured design work.

 

My journey began with Freehand—back when Macromedia was still under Adobe’s wing—before moving on to tools like Corel and Illustrator. (Though, I must admit, part of me still thinks Freehand had something special.)

Over time, I found myself drawn to the world of 3D. I took several character animation courses using Autodesk’s 3ds Max, and that passion opened new creative avenues. My knowledge of 3D has since enriched other areas of my work, from motion graphics to video editing.

​

That love for animation eventually led me to video. Adobe Premiere Pro became a daily companion, but it was Adobe After Effects that truly captivated me. Today, I often say that with Photoshop and After Effects (and maybe a little Illustrator or Corel), you can create just about anything.

​

Web design was also part of my story from the start—my first job was in a small web studio in Málaga. Though the digital world has changed dramatically since the days of Flash (which I once mastered), I believe it’s evolved for the better.

​

On a personal note, I'm not one to talk much about myself. But one thing I know: wherever I go, I build strong and lasting friendships. I'm always ready to help, and I believe that teams work best when everyone is aligned, collaborating toward a common goal.

​

Above all, I’m a proud father of two amazing little “monsters” who keep me endlessly inspired—and totally in love. None of this would be possible without my wife, my partner in everything. Together, we're the Fantastic Four.
